This category is for developers who have created residential schemes or refurbished existing properties in urban areas such as town or city centres which regenerate that area, or bring new life and vitality. Judges will look at aspects from the number of homes built to sales, finance, design, product range, build quality, innovative forms of funding and finance. They will look for evidence of a focused business which knows its customer base and delivers a high quality product to that market.

The judges will be looking for three examples of urban/city living or bespoke projects which are in for planning, under construction or on-site in the North West region, with at least one completed AND occupied in the qualifying period. The examples must demonstrate skills, any innovation, commercial achievements and whether there has been an overall contribution to the regeneration and development of the region.

Qualifying period: 1st November 2025 – 31st October 2026

1. Describe up to three urban projects undertaken in the North West region which demonstrate skills, any innovation, commercial achievements and whether there has been an overall contribution to the regeneration and development of the region.
2. Explain the highlight of the last year for your firm. This could be a hugely successful scheme completion, forward sales, planning or funding achieved
3. Describe any key initiatives / investments you have made to make your business and the developments you undertake more environmentally and socially sustainable.
4. In the qualifying period how many new North West projects for which your company is responsible were;
   – On site and under construction?
   – Let and/or sold?
5. With the above criteria in mind, give a statement as to why your organisation deserves to win this award
