Matthew is a qualified Barrister-at-Law and Chartered Tax Adviser with over 16 years of experience at “Big 4” firms, where he advised Private Equity houses prior to joining Bevan Buckland in 2016. Matthew has a broad range of experience across corporate, partnership, personal and trust tax. He jointly leads our tax team across these areas.
Matthew specialises in providing tax advice to individuals and owner-managed businesses, including areas such as inheritance tax, succession, business restructuring and exit planning. With his private equity experience, he is particularly interested in assisting clients in preparing for sales and the sale process.
Matthew is passionate about establishing long-standing relationships with local businesses and their owners, which bring added value to the tax services he provides.
